Graduate Sports Therapist BSc (Hons)
Alistair graduated from the University of Chichester with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Sports Therapy in 2015. Alistair has been member of the DKW sports therapy team since October 2015. He has gained a vast amount of experience in both a clinical and pitch-side setting since he graduated. Alistair is a fully insured member of the Society of Sports Therapists.
Alistair has also gained valuable experience in elite/profession sport working with Portsmouth Football Club. Alistair worked initially with the academy u9-16 players before going full time at the club as Head of academy sports science and medicine.
Alistair has also worked with many local schools, Portsmouth Grammar School, St Johns College and Portsmouth University to name but a few. Providing pitch-side first aid for a number of sports.
Alistair understands the frustration that injury brings. He believes his knowledge and experience from working in many different sports at all levels, from amateur to professional, gives him a strong foundation to implement effective and successful treatment and injury prevention for all varieties of injuries; be that sport, occupational or postural injuries.
Alistair enjoys working and treating all different types of sporting ability, ages and disabilities. His aim is to rehabilitate, re-educate and restore patients to full function, allowing them to return to their sports or occupation quickly and safely.
